The branch of Engg provides scope for the students with through knowledge & practice related to construction , operation & maintains & safety precautions to be excercised in the case of machine tools , equipments , gauges & instruments.
The department of Mechanical Engineering was the first department to be started along with the institution. The department was started initially with student strength of 40 and staff strength of 05. Over the last 03 years, the department has grown in all magnitude and presently has an intake of 120 and faculty strength of 12, all the faculty members possesses graduate degrees.
The department is established with a wide range of laboratories and workshops with most modern jigs & fixtures, machines, instruments, apparatus, tools and testers. A complete range of mechanical precision works in respect of Sheet metal, Welding, Carpentry, Smithy, foundry, Material Testing, Machine Shop operations are undertaken for development of expertise and skill amongst students. Arrangements are also made to impart industry standard development of skills through in-situ practical training at established industries.
